Elevation Profile Instruction

Below are instructions for using this application. This is currently only a proof-of-concept, but functionality will be expanded.

1. Check if image service correctly loaded (i.e., can you see the sand bar on the map?); refresh page, if not (having problems with the server).
2. Use the 'Draw a polyline' tool to draw a cross-section that intersects the sand bar DEM; double-click when finished with last vertex.
3. Click 'Get Profile' button below the map. An alert will appear notifying you that a profile is being created.
4. The longer or more complex the line, the longer it will take to generate a profile (progress bar will be added in the future).
5. Once create, move the mouse over the chart to interactively get details. Hovering over the chart points will update a marker on the map.
6. There is no 'clear' function yet, so you must refresh the page to generate another elevation profile.
